Clara Gray

Clara Gray has over 30 years of experience in Finance. She has served the Canton Public School District in several capacities for 21 years. She began as a Payroll Bookkeeper, was later promoted to Business Administrator and Human Resource Director, and today serves as the Director of Business and Finance.  

    Gray started her career as an Accountant/Auditor at the Mississippi Research and Development Center in Jackson. She later joined the Kennedy Catering Company in Memphis, Tennessee as an accountant.  In 1987 she joined the “Tiger Team” and has been here since.  

     Gray oversees the day-to-day operation of budgeting, payroll, fixed assets, internal audit, purchasing, and accounts payable.     Gray received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi.   

    She looks forward to keeping the Tigers on sound financial footing.
