Transportation Department
The Canton Public School District’s Transportation Department is active in transporting over 2, 500 students daily.  Department provides opportunity for students to be transported to six schools within the district.  State and Federal regulations, numerous laws, and regulations that govern how bus stops are assigned ensure that we have bus stops which are safe for our students and motorists alike.
 
The Canton Public School District is composed of the City of Canton plus added territory.  The district is an active participant in civic, community, business, and industrial projects.  The mission of the district is to provide equal opportunity for excellent educational experiences in the classroom.  To accomplish this mission, the transportation department provides services each day to accomplish this goal.
 
Maintenance Department 

The Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining more than 299,757,000 square feet of space in six schools and acres in school grounds. The six maintenance employees in the department are responsible for the heating/cooling of the schools, the electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry. The department also monitors construction projects. During the summer break, the maintenance department undertakes many school projects that cannot easily be completed while classrooms are occupied.
