MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of CSAS is to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to learn socially, emotionally, and cognitively to build upon a foundation for a successful future.

VISION:
To enhance student learning and improve student achievement through cosmopolitan experiences.

Our School

Canton School of Arts and Sciences is a Multiple Intelligences (MI) Environment that is Purring Toward Multinational Distinction. Upon teaching our students about the culture of the Seven Continents, our educators will ‘’tap’ into the nine MI Resources of our students to enhance and strengthen their learning abilities as well as access ALL their SMARTS. Since an intelligence is the ability to solve problems, or to create products, that are valued within one or more cultural settings, CSAS will afford an array of clubs in which memberships may be formed via the MI SMARTS, or academic areas of interest for enrichment or reinforcement.

Our Students

CSAS has approximately 585 kindergarten through fifth grade students. There are 20 prekindergarteners from Friends of Children housed in our facility.

Our students are transported to and from school by public buses, private vans and vehicles.

School Uniforms

Our colors are gold, navy, or white tops and khaki or navy bottoms. Students wear uniforms Monday-Friday.

Members of our staff wear uniforms Monday-Wednesday.
