Not to dawdle or play

For one day I’m going to be a very influential person.

I will become influential because

I will read much

And study hard.

My friends may laugh at me

But I don’t care.

I am a very bright individual with a lot to learn

And a lot to share.

Only I can determine what I’m going to be in life

Because my life is mine and since this is the only one I have

I’m going to make the very best of it.

The way I act as a child

Determines the kind of adult I will become.
