Without hesitation, 2009-2010 will be a year of greatness: great teaching, great learning, and great parental and community support. I am honored and excited to serve the children of Canton School of Arts and Sciences as their principal. We, the students and staff, are looking forward to a prosperous and productive school year!
The exceptional staff of highly qualified teachers and I believe in educating the whole child. Our primary goal is to exceed the standards of excellence and equip our students with the academic and social skills needed to compete in a global economy and society.
In the spirit of the district motto, “Working Together Works,” we would like to further encourage increased parental participation and continuous support from the community. As the African proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” If we combine the spirit of the district motto and this famous African proverb and work together, there are no limits to the heights that our children will soar!
