My class is designed to incite the creative minds of our future. I have incorporated innovative techniques along with traditional skills to assure students are constantly being engaged.  By using different strategies such as Think-Pair-Share, Give Me 5, KWHL charts and Concept Maps, greatly increase the students' ability to learn effectively.

Some of our daily activities include reading maps, interpreting political cartoons, creating timelines and analyzing data.  Students are constantly designing data mobiles, wondercirles, and informational foldables to ensure learning is obtained. These activities are designed to help our students compete in our global society.
