Behavior Specialist

Mary Eskridge-Williams is elated to serve as the Canton Public School District Social Worker. Mary is a native of Sallis, MS, and a graduate of McAdams High School. She furthered her education at Jackson State University, where she received a bachelor's and master’s degree in Social Work. Although Mary is new to the Canton Public School District, she is not new to Social Work. Mary is a Licensed Master of Social Work with over 6 years of experience in the social work field. She previously worked at the Department of Human Services, Rankin County Youth Court, and Madison County Child Protection Services. Mary's primary goal is to bridge the gap between the school and community by increasing parental involvement and enhancing student’s academic success. In this role, she will provide brief counseling, emotional support, community resource referrals, and many other direct services. Mary is eager to begin working with the students, parents, faculty, and staff of the Canton Public School District.
