Welcome to the Office of Exceptional Services

The Office of Exceptional Services is committed to delivering high-quality support to all students in our district who are identified as having a disability under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004 and to those identified as intellectually gifted.

Our team includes:

  • 25 exceptional services teachers
  • 1 gifted teacher
  • 10 paraprofessional aides
  • Registered Nurse
  • 4 Speech Language Therapists
  • OT and PT related service providers 

Our administrative team comprises a director, an administrative assistant, a case manager, a psychometrist, and a functional behavioral specialist.

As our district's population evolves, we remain dedicated to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

  • Visual Impairments
  • Orthopedic Impairments
  • Multiple Disabilities
  • Other Health Impairments
  • Developmental Delays (ages 3–5 years)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
