Greetings Parent(s) and Guardian(s) of CHS 2015-2016 Tigers,

My name is Ms. Taiquitha T. Robins. I will be instructing your child in the area of Microbiology/Genetics. Microbiology will be taught August-December and your child will earn 0.5 science credits. Genetics will be taught January-May and your child will earn another 0.5 science credits.

I am a graduate of M. S. Palmer High School and of Jackson State University. In 2009, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Biology at JSU. I am very excited to be a part of the Canton CAN team where the district has deemed that “It’s Time.” In adoption of this philosophy, I believe that IT IS TIME for us to push forward with the technological advances that we have been provided in order to ensure that your child(ren) are prepared for the world beyond the boundaries of Canton, MS, and the walls of Canton High School.

We have an amazing year ahead of us. The Science department will be orchestrating some new and exciting activities this year, some of which include the installation of a Science Club and scientific field trips amongst other initiatives.
