When students return to school in August, they will continue to eat for FREE at no cost to parents or the district. We are urging parents and guardians to complete the meal application forms. Starting in September, ALL students will still eat free, however; if we do not meet the 70% or higher threshold, the district will not receive full federal reimbursement for those students who would have to pay full or reduced cost for their meals. Instead, the district might have to cover these costs at the end of the school year.

Cuando los estudiantes regresen a clases en agosto, seguirán recibiendo sus comidas GRATIS, sin costo alguno para los padres ni para el distrito. Instamos a los padres y tutores a completar los formularios de solicitud de comidas. A partir de septiembre, TODOS los estudiantes continuarán comiendo gratis; sin embargo, si no alcanzamos el umbral del 70 % o más, el distrito no recibirá el reembolso federal completo por aquellos estudiantes que, de otro modo, tendrían que pagar el precio completo o reducido por sus comidas. En tal caso, es posible que el distrito deba cubrir estos costos al finalizar el año escolar.
