CPSD Superintendent Finalists Public Forum
Stakeholders got an opportunity to meet CPSD's superintendent finalists at a public forum held tonight at Canton High School. The two finalists, out of a field of 19 applicants, are Jackson Public School District assistant superintendent Gary P. Hannah and Pass Christian Middle School principal Earl Joe Nelson.
Dr. Tommye Henderson, a consultant with the Mississippi School Board Association, asked the finalists questions that were submitted by stakeholders prior to the meeting. The candidates shared their background and accomplishments, then told stakeholders why they think they are the best person for the job.
